Circular dated 28/10/2008 “Debt collection optimisation in the field of transport law: the Gayssot Law”:
The Gayssot Law was intended to facilitate payment for the carrier’s provision of services by granting it three means of getting paid: a lien extended to cover past debts, and two direct actions. For carriers, what is involved is appropriating the tools made available to them by the Gayssot Law.
